SurikaS was created in the Netherlands with a clear mission: to provide organisations with a structured, principles-based approach to ensure AI development and procurement align with their intended outcomes and policy environment.
We believe that by assessing AI projects throughout their lifecycle, across multiple dimensions, using a systematic and objective framework, organisations can make more informed decisions and create better AI. The EU AI Act turned that belief into an obligation for many of them — SurikaS is how a team meets it without a governance department.
